MeadowFest: Living Meadows Map with Open Eye Club

Living Meadows Map MOVED TO RAIN DATE OCT 8
Join Open Eye Club behind the big red barn to help create a gigantic Living Meadows Map representing the unique beauty, biodiversity, and meaning of the FDR Meadows.

We will supply the art materials for you to take on an expedition to explore the meadows, gather observations, and record your favorite memories. Back at the barn, collage your drawings and writings onto the giant map alongside other Meadows explorers. Throughout the day, our map will grow into a collective expression of our love for this special place. Everyone / all ages welcome. Art materials will be provided.

Accessibility: The art build area is a short walk from the parking lot on a grassy surface. Picnic tables and restrooms are available; please bring snacks and water.

Location: Meadows Picnic Grove at FDR, 1954 Pattison Ave
Enter the Meadows from the 20th street parking lot by walking west through the community gardens and past the clubhouse.
