MeadowFest: Nature Walk with Bernard "Billy" Brown of Grid Magazine

Nature Walk with Bernard Brown Meet at the Meadows Community Bulletin Board

Bernard "Billy" Brown, a nature writer with Grid magazine and author of Exploring Philly Nature: A Guide for All Four Seasons will lead a nature walk from the clubhouse. We will focus on documenting what we found with citizen science platforms eBird and iNaturalist. Exploring Philly Nature will be available for purchase as well.

Accessibility: The walk will be on natural surfaces, some of which may be soggy. Participants should wear shoes that can get wet and be prepared to move through tall vegetation. No gear is necessary, though binoculars and magnifying glasses will enhance the experience.

Location: Meadows Picnic Grove at FDR, 1954 Pattison Ave
Enter the Meadows from the 20th street parking lot by walking west through the community gardens and past the clubhouse.
